Join Us for the Energy in Motion 5K Walk/Run
The Glendale Heights Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Village of Glendale Heights, is pleased to announce the Glendale Heights Community “Energy in Motion 5K Walk/Run.”
This annual walk will once again be focusing on raising funds to help establish programs in Glendale Heights schools that promote a healthier lifestyle in today’s youth.
Take the time to look at the different participation opportunities offered for businesses and organizations to become a part of this great community event. The Chamber of Commerce has made the issue of teaching and building healthier lifestyles in the youth of Glendale Heights their long term cause and we hope to continue to build this event for many years to come. No matter how small the donation or offer, all profits will be going to schools and the Parks & Recreation P.A.T.H. program. Help us build an even greater relationship with the people that bring us our business by helping insure the success of our walk.
Why are we doing the Energy in Motion 5K Walk/Run
As local business leaders, we have the responsibility to make the public aware of the many programs and services that are available to Glendale Heights Residents and the surrounding areas.
“Energy in Motion 5K Walk/Run” is a way to financially support Glendale Heights schools and the Parks & Recreation P.A.T.H. program with educational tools, new before and after-school programs, health and fitness equipment, literature, or whatever it is that they need to educate our children in making better activity choices, as well as bring awareness of what our mother earth needs for us all to live in a clean, green environment.
We want to bring the community closer and work together to make Glendale Heights a healthier place to LIVE! Join the “Energy in Motion 5K Walk/Run” and help spread the word: the whole village is invited!
