CONGRATULATIONS 2010 EARTH DAY POSTER CONTEST WINNERS!

The following children’s posters were selected by the Glendale Heights Green Team as 1st Place Winners of the 2010 Earth Day Poster Contest and announced at the Energy in Motion 5K & Earth Day Celebration held on April 17, 2010. The posters were judged by grade level (K-8) for their creative way of depicting the theme: “Making environmentally safe and sustainable choices for a greener tomorrow.” The winners received a 2010 Individual Aquatic Center Pool Pass and 2010 Activity Pass for the Sports Hub, a beach bag and towel, water bottle, and book mark made of recycled circuit board, donated by SCARCE, a DuPage County Agency.
