On Saturday, May 21, 2011, the Glendale Heights Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Glendale Heights are hosting the 4th Annual "Energy in Motion" 5K Walk and Green Eco Fair to raise awareness of health and fitness activities, and Eco-programs to benefit the health and well-being of our youth and community. The event takes place at Camera Park in Glendale Heights from 8:30 to 11:30 am and includes a 5K Walk through Camera Park, Eco-Education, Activity Table and Community Recycling Collections.

5K Walk: Check-In & Late Registrations begin at 8:30 am and the walk begins promptly at 9:30 am. Participants are asked to donate a minimum of $1 to participate. First 100 to register with a donation of $10 or greater will receive a FREE t-shirt and "Glendale Heights Goes Green" draw-string back pack (distributed at the event check-in table).
Chance to Win Green Ipod! Registered participants who complete their 5K Walk and Eco-Education at the event are eligible to enter a drawing for a chance to win a Green Ipod. Entry Forms will be available at Check-In. All registered participants will also receive FREE Give-A-Ways at Eco-Education booths.
